Mail-a-Book Services for North Central Kansas Libraries

A Mail-A-Book catalog is provided to residents of NCKL who live in rural areas and who do not have easy access to a library. This service is funded by taxes paid by residents in their counties. Homebound city residents may also qualify. The collection consists primarily of paperback books. Books are mailed to the patrons with return postage included. This program serves approximately 850 patrons.

The collection contains a variety of fiction and nonfiction books.
A genre list for the fiction includes popular romance, romance, regency romance, inspirational fiction, mystery, westerns, science fiction, large print, youth and children.
Categories for the nonfiction include hobbies, cook books, true crime, and through the State of Kansas Library Audio Books Online.
